High-Risk AI: Automated CV Screening

The Challenge: The agency implemented an AI tool to automatically filter and rank applicant CVs. They were unaware that systems used for recruitment are explicitly classified as High-Risk under Annex III of the AI Act, exposing them to immediate regulatory scrutiny and potential discrimination lawsuits.
The ARXEDO Intervention: We paused automated processing and conducted a Fundamental Rights Impact Assessment (FRIA). We restructured their workflow to mandate strict Human-in-the-Loop (HITL) oversight, updating their privacy notices and establishing a robust AI governance framework.
Outcome: 100% compliance with AI Act High-Risk obligations and mitigation of GDPR Article 22 (Automated Decision Making) liabilities.

Customer Profiling & AI Chatbots

The Challenge: The retailer deployed dynamic pricing algorithms and a Generative AI customer support chatbot. They failed to implement the transparency obligations required by the AI Act and were conducting mass customer profiling without a valid Data Protection Impact Assessment (DPIA).
The ARXEDO Intervention: We mapped their entire AI data flow. We drafted the mandatory transparency disclosures ("You are interacting with an AI system") and executed a comprehensive DPIA for their profiling algorithms, proving that their dynamic pricing did not constitute a Prohibited Practice (manipulation).
Outcome: Avoided potential fines of up to €35M (or 7% of global turnover) by aligning their AI marketing stack with both GDPR and the AI Act transparency tiers.

Accidental High-Risk Classification

The Challenge: A SaaS provider was building a predictive analytics feature for their enterprise platform. Due to poor legal design, the feature was dangerously close to crossing the threshold into a High-Risk AI System, which would have required millions in CE certification and conformity assessments.
The ARXEDO Intervention: We audited the product roadmap prior to launch. By adjusting the specific use-case parameters and adding explicit limitations to the algorithm's decision-making autonomy, we successfully re-classified the product under the "Limited/Minimal Risk" category.
Outcome: Saved the client an estimated 18 months of regulatory backlog and compliance costs, allowing them to launch immediately.
